Who is it meant for?
Qualification in the SIM centre is intended for all interested professional workers in healthcare (emergency teams, rescuers, medical teams, dental teams, nurses in home care services, nurses in retirement homes, pharmacists, medicine students as well as medical nursing students, etc.).
Successfully simulation learning in healthcare
Learning in a simulation centre takes place in an environment that replicates a real clinical environment. Participants are first acquainted with theory. They then perform a simulation with a specific learning purpose, followed by a review. In this way, the participants can examine their treatment and should learn from their own failures or from their excellent solutions in what we call a “debriefing”. This creates a “wow” effect - “I can really do it!” - enabling participants to aquire the best quality and most applicable knowledge.
